Celebrity Home Galleries // Kimora Lee Simmons lavish Beverly Hills spread is currently on the market for $62.5K

The Beverly Hills home of fashion icon Kimora Lee Simmons is available for rent. The founder of Baby Phat has set the rent for her pad at $62,500 per month.

The house was built in 1990 and has ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread over over 13,000 square feet. There are two bedrooms and one bath in the detached guest house, as well as a rooftop cabana with views of the local countryside as well as the pool, sport court, and gardens.

The main home is a villa with opulent features such as ornate columns at the entrance, a lavishly ornamented foyer with an inlaid stone tile floor, a chandelier, a staircase with a florid bronze railing and handrail, and a second-story overlook.

From that point of entry and first salvo of adornment, the eye delight only gets better. Highlights of the shared spaces include a living room with intricate molding and millwork and a fireplace, a dining room with gilt and imperial red damask wall covering, a wood-paneled library with a stone fireplace and inlaid oak floors, a green and beige kitchen with a trompe l’oeil stove backsplash, and a large family room with a coffered ceiling.

The master bedroom is proportionately and ornamentally coordinated with the rest of the house: a wide area with French doors leading to a private balcony, and in full flower.
