Celebrity Home Galleries // Liberace’s West Hollywood Townhouse enters Market asking $3.2M

Liberace, Olivia de Havilland, and a slew of other stars once owned a home in West Hollywood that recently went on the market.

The Shoreham Condominiums townhouse, built in 1937, is 2,000 square feet and has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Marble French-style fireplace, rooftop deck, and romantic garden with water feature are just some of the original features of the interiors.

The complex’s history is fascinating. In the heyday of the star system, the Shoreham was home to some of Hollywood’s most famous names, including Ronald Colman, John Huston, Katharine Hepburn, and Marlene Dietrich, according to the condo’s listings. A little digging reveals that it was built by MGM as a place for their employees to live.

Barbara Sinatra, Frank’s fourth wife, lived in the Shoreham condo Liberace owned in the 1970s, according to the Los Angeles Times; the building’s listings also indicate the presence of Ava va-va-va-voom Gardner in the building. If both sources are correct, this home is the only one in the world to house two of Elvis Presley’s sexy wives at once.
